- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon caraway seed, lightly crushed
- Cream the butter with the sugar.
- Add eggs one by one and incorporate thoroughly.
- Add caraway and flour a little a time, stir well.
- Use two teaspoons to shape the cookies the size of a nutmeg (about 1 inch) and place them on buttered baking sheets.
- Bake at 350F about 15 minutes, until light brown.
