Q: How does Time To Dine Work?
A: Time To Dine is a special, 2-week promotional event, offered at no additional cost for all Spring HVRW participants. This program will celebrate the reopening of local restaurants and drive business to your establishment. Time To Dine will be heavily promoted through a paid media campaign using print, digital and social media platforms, as well as earned media exposure. We will target local residents, encouraging them to support and celebrate the area’s restaurants and reminding them that whether they chose to dine in or dine out, it’s once again Time To Dine in the Hudson Valley!
Q: When does Time To Dine take place?
A: August 17th-30th
Q: Do I have to offer a prix-fixe menu?
A: NO. We will promote any menu you want. You can offer your regular menu, limited, takeout, curbside, family style, prix-fixe, lunch, dinner, etc. Be sure to send us a PDF file of your menu by July 10th.
Q: Does this cost me anything?
A: No. As a Spring 2020 HVRW participant, you’re automatically enrolled into this program at no additional cost.
Q: What’s included in Time to Dine?
A: Time to Dine participants receive a ¼ page color print advertisement in the Summer issue of The Valley Table, which will be distributed on August 10th, a few days before the start of Time to Dine. Participants will also receive a 6 month 300x200 digital ad listing on The Valley Table website.
Q: When do I need to submit materials (menu, print ad, and digital ad)?
A: Print ads must be submitted by July 17th. Digital ads can be sent at anytime—we will post these to the website as soon as we receive them. Menu’s must be submitted in a PDF format to firstname.lastname@example.org by July 10th.
Q: I don’t have someone to design an ad for me. What do I do?
A: We have an in-house graphic designer who can create a print and digital ad for you. The deadline to submit ad information/creative to email@example.com is July 15th. The sooner the better!
Q: Where will my menu be posted?
A: On The Valley Table website, in the restaurant listing section. We will be adding filters to the listing including: patio, take-out, curbside, dine-in, and family style, to help diners sift through menus. Be sure to include what you will be offering when you submit your menus. During restaurant week we get over 250K menu views so be sure to send them soon.
Q: How are we communicating to consumers that we are staying safe while staying open?
